Time Management

I came along with an article written by Stephen Covey, a management consultant. He created a time management mechanism that seems very helpful in our college life. He divided it with generations for us to integrate.

1st Generation: Reminders
This is the basic time management tool. Post-it notes, homework logs and cell phone reminders are excellent tools in reminding us tasks. This is sometimes referred to as the “check list”.
2nd Generation: Planning and Preparation
As we are reminded, we ought to be reminded by the detail. This generation deals with preparing a task like taking notes of what, where and when the task is needed. It also deals with setting goals.
3rd Generation: Prioritizing, Controlling and Planning
This generation deals with our values and priorities. We ought to list things in proper order basing on their urgency.

The mechanism is here so implement! Be efficient. Just do it!
